Wanda Tietjens, Hiawatha Store Manager for over 25 years, Retires

After 25 years of seeing Wanda’s useful smile while you walked via the door, her anecdotal testimonies and insightful provider might be neglected as she begins a brand new journey.”
Wanda stated in the usual HMS style, and her training became OJT (on the activity schooling) essentially. Still, she learned quickly and led the Hiawatha to keep to higher sales and earnings. Three years in the past, she and her workforce oversaw the transition from the original keep to the present-day keep area. The enthusiasm and get-it-accomplished attitude of Wanda, Brian, and Tommy affected the pass effectively with several workers’ company bodies’ assistance.
It became very a whole lot appreciated. Although Wanda is retiring from Carpet Plus, she can have plenty to do with three grandsons and their relatives’ farm operation circle. It could be ordinary now not seeing Wanda’s smiling face at organization events, but we hope she keeps in touch with her HMS family. The team of Brian Kerns, Tommy Black, Barry Grier, and Michael Taylor will hold to maintain the store’s culture and way of life at the side of the new keep Manager Drew Vernon.
