50 years down for Peck’s Flooring in Kingston

It all began on Standish Avenue in North Plymouth in 1969.

KINGSTON – The modern-day owners and the couple who commenced all of it met with rejoicing 50 years in commercial enterprise for Peck’s Flooring America. Macuch took possession in 1997, and the Pecks retired in 2003. The region now has two showrooms, one in the front and one inside the store’s returned. One day per week, he’s joined at the store with the aid of his spouse, Kate Otto-Macuch, who can wear any hat or play any role within the business. “She’s a real partner and a fine force within the commercial enterprise,” he stated.

As with any enterprise, there were and downs of their case, tied to the housing marketplace.

“There have been instances after I concept, I don’t think we’re going to make it this 12 months, and I want it to,” he said. “The economy went so far south, it just clearly tanked with the housing marketplace crash, but we hung in there.”
